What is a lottery wheel?
This is a system that allows you to arrange the numbers you select into bets.

Must I sign the back of my lotto ticket?
It is highly recommended by the Canadian Lottery Corporations that you provide your name and contact info on the back of your lottery tickets, as the prize is payable to the person that is identified on the back of a winning ticket.

I have come across an old 6/49 ticket that I forgot about. It is more than one year old. Can I still claim the prize?
Unfortunately, tickets for such games as Lotto 6/49 and Super 7 expire one year after the draw date and thus are not redeemable.

What is the bonus number for?
In Lottos 6/49, Super 7 and the regional 49 games, a bonus number is drawn in addition to the regular numbers. This gives you a bonus chance to redeem a payout. Check with your specific lottery for details regarding bonus number payouts.

What is meant by a pari-mutuel share?
This is a calculation made in order to split the winnings in a particular payout category amongst the winners of that payout.

If I match the first digit in Extra, do I win a prize?
No, Extra is won by matching the numbers in order starting from the last number, therefore, you win a prize if you match the last number, and the payouts increase as the numbers matched increases, in order.
